It has been ages, slowly, I rise and take in sparrows of breath
Now all I do, is to sit and reminisce the blest old days
The times when I had it all
To and fro I whence
West and East they all came
Yes, I was a paragon of desire
I was young, sturdy and beautiful
Contoured like Hercules, swifty was my tact
I blazed grandeur and relayed seizure to all that set eyes
On me, I was the demon of beauty and god of fantasy
I plunged stern ecstasy into all at my grasp
Yes, I was adored, I was yearned for, and all who had
Me, had the fill, brimmed
I was the Handsomest Apollo, dear Artemis would always
say, “oh god of beauty”
I shone like the sunrise, my complexion dim like the
Dusk of day
There was all, there was glory
Now I age and famine in thoughts
Now all there is, is the picture of my youth
The desire that battle within me,
Oh! what great lust.
