Etwa 50 Mitglieder treffen sich montags um 18.15 Uhr in der Musikschule zur Probe.
Seit Februar 2014 existiert das Junge Sinfonieorchester Hilden als Kooperationsprojekt zwischen der Musikschule Hilden, dem Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Gymnasium Hilden und
dem Helmholtz-Gymnasium. Nach der ersten Unterrichtsstunde am Freitag laufen die Abiturienten durch die Schule
und holen die restlichen Schülerinnen und Schüler aus den Klassen.
Die Grundmauern stehen bereits, nun werden Holzelemente eingebaut,
die später die Klassen und anderen Räume abtrennen. Bis Anfang November sollen alle Wände stehen,
auch die im Obergeschoss, das momentan noch nicht existiert.
Danach wird die Glasfassade innerhalb von drei bis vier Wochen eingebaut.
Dienstags und freitags bieten Musikschule, Sportvereine und andere außerschulische Kooperationspartner Arbeitsgemeinschaften an.
