Behold anon not quickly
the slave boy in shackles
giving his daily meal to the beggar’s lad
with a sickly but healthy smile
Look please don’t glance
as he rushes to help the market women
with their heavy basket of fruit
without a thought to steal or receive
See as he runs errands by and by
for his master happily without wasting time
enduring pains, hunger, and suffering
That’s what I want you to be
To suffer? No, and yes
We all suffer one thing or the other
Let it not embitter you though
